Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 13, 2026

This Privacy Policy describes how the RestoreMatch website (“RestoreMatch,” “we,” “us”) collects, uses, and shares information when you visit or use the RestoreMatch website (the “Website”).

1. Information we collect

We collect a limited amount of information needed to operate the Website. The categories of information we may collect are:

  • Information you provide. If you enter a ZIP code or otherwise provide information voluntarily, we collect what you submit. The ZIP checker does not require you to provide a name, email address, or phone number.
  • Attribution information. If you arrive at the Website from a paid ad or other marketing channel, we may capture the referring URL, UTM parameters, and click identifiers (such as Google's gclid or Microsoft's msclkid) so we can understand which sources are sending us visitors.
  • Usage information. When analytics are enabled, we use a third-party analytics tool to understand which pages are visited and which calls to action get engagement. Analytics are not enabled by default.
  • Call information. When a phone number is configured and you call it, the call may be handled by a third-party call-routing or marketing partner. The partner may record call duration, call outcome, and routing information. Call audio recording depends on the partner's configuration and is governed by their privacy practices.

2. How we use information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Operate and improve the Website.
  • Check whether a user's ZIP is within a currently supported service area.
  • Route calls to participating providers in the user's area, when call routing is active.
  • Measure the performance of marketing campaigns (when analytics are enabled).
  • Respond to inquiries and provide support.
  • Comply with legal obligations.

3. Sharing of information

We do not sell personal information. We share information only with:

  • Participating marketing and call-routing partners — to route a caller to a participating provider and to attribute marketing performance.
  • Analytics providers — to understand Website usage, when analytics are enabled.
  • Service providers — vendors that help us operate the Website, subject to confidentiality obligations.
  • Legal authorities — where required by law, court order, or to protect our rights or the safety of others.

When you call a number on the Website, you may be connected to an independent water-damage restoration or mold-remediation service provider. Information you share with that provider is governed by that provider's own privacy practices, not this Privacy Policy.

4. Cookies and local storage

The Website uses cookies and local storage for a small number of purposes: remembering your attribution source across pages, remembering whether you have already seen a particular notification, and basic analytics (when enabled). You can clear cookies and local storage in your browser settings at any time.

5. Your choices

You can choose not to provide personal information. The ZIP checker does not require it, and you can use the Website to check service-area eligibility without filling out any form.

To opt out of Google Analytics specifically, install the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on. To request deletion of information we have collected about you, contact us using the details on the Contact page. We will respond within the timeframes required by applicable law.

6. Data security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information. No system is perfectly secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Children's privacy

The Website is not directed to children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top of the page will reflect the most recent changes.

9. Contact

Questions about this Privacy Policy can be sent to the address listed on the Contact page.
